Please read the following information carefully. It contains details about booking your holiday, which you need to be aware of, particularly when travelling overseas.
Vaccinations
Please note that vaccinations may be compulsory or highly recommended for your destination. Whilst Capital World Travel will be able to offer advice please check with your doctor for the latest information.
Health & Safety
The Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) issues up to the minute safety information for travellers to many countries. Capital World Travel can check FCO information for you or you can check on www.fco.gov.uk, or by calling the FCO's Travel Advice Unit on 0207 008 0232 / 0233.
Insurance
Capital World Travel will be delighted to arrange travel insurance on your behalf. Capital World Travel insurance is arranged by Capital World Travel and underwritten by Journeys Insurance plc. If you decide not to take our insurance, or that offered by the Tour Operator, we will require the name of your chosen insurance company and policy number. Your cover should, at least, be equivalent to that supplied by the Tour Operator, so please check your policy carefully. Hazardous sports and activities may not be covered by your insurance so please check your policy. Unfortunately we are unable to arrange travel insurance by telephone for clients who have not booked travel arrangements with Capital World Travel. However insurance may be arranged direct from our travel insurance partner by logging onto www.g5716.journeysplaza.com.
Passports & Visas
Please note that it is your responsibility to ensure that you have a valid passport and any necessary visa for your holiday.
A passport is usually required when you travel abroad, and in some instances it may need to be valid for up to six months after the date of your return. Please note that the initial and surname on your travel tickets must match those on your passport. All persons must have their own valid passport and this includes all children and babies. Please allow plenty of time for your passport application to be processed and please check with the relevant passport offices for up to date information on the recommended time for passport processing as the offices are extremely busy in the high season. Holders of British Subject, Irish and non-British passports often have different visa requirements to British Citizens. Anyone with a criminal record should also check visa requirements. Visas can take a long time to arrange. It is essential that we have full details of the passports held by each member of your party.
Capital World Travel cannot accept responsibility for holidays cancelled due to the refusal or delay of visas or passports by the relevant authority . For further passport information visit www.ukpa.gov.uk.
Late Bookings
Late offers, which are often booked within a few weeks of departure, may not be taken from a brochure price; and therefore no comparison with a brochure price can be made. When making your booking please check the Tour Operator's booking conditions. Specific facilities and special needs cannot be guaranteed. The final resort and accommodation is often allocated by the Tour Operator on arrival at your destination airport. Late offers usually charge supplements for in-flight meals, resort transfers and extra luggage allowance.
Special Requests
Capital World Travel will make special requests on your behalf, but these cannot be guaranteed unless confirmed by the supplier in writing.
Special Requirements
If anyone in your party has a medical condition or disability that requires a special diet or specific accommodation or travel needs, please let us know. We will check with the supplier to see if your requirements can be met.
Scheduled Flights
When booking scheduled flights please note that in most cases no changes or refunds can be made, once the reservation is confirmed. The fare is not guaranteed unless full payment is made when booking.

Capital World Travel has full membership of ABTA (Association of British Travel Agents), giving you complete peace of mind. For a summary of ABTA's protection and consumer services, including Arbitration please refer to the ABTA website at www.abta.com.
